I know my blogging has been very sporadic lately and there are lots of reasons I could give but really I have just been distracted. Distracted by my upcoming holiday. Our 5 month trip will have us travelling to London, Paris, Spain, back to France, Italy, Croatia, Egypt and Dubai. I will blog as I go so if you want to see what we are up to check in from time to time.
I am really enjoying exploring the new range of necklaces. They’re very textural and a play on an earlier idea I had. And not a flower in sight!! Do you like them?

It was a good weekend at the Stretch Festival. There was a photography competition and the winning photo just happened to be of a local artist wearing no other than a Lulu Tissu beret. Congratulations Lisa Cruttenden-Whyte for the photo ( see below).

This Saturday I will be having a stall at Dynamic Organics new shop at 19 Gibson Street Mandurah. It is a lovely shop full of beautiful organic produce. They are also raising funds for charity. The perfect opportunity to purchase something unique for Mother’s Day.
I will have a stall at the Stretch Festival Sellerbr8 markets Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May. Lots of new products. Come on down and support your local artisans.

So what have I been up to since the closure of Acseller8. Firstly, I took a much needed break with absolutely no sewing at all. It felt strange. It has been a challenge to get back into it. But I can confirm yesterday I started to create again. I have designed a velvet version of my headbands which I am liking and will post pictures of these as soon as I am happy with the final design and I can find a volunteer model.
Hopefully you will be able to find me at this years Stretch Festival ( first weekend in May). Which is just perfect timing for buying something for Mother’s Day which is the following Sunday.

I have just finished a new range of summer hats. The beautiful Rebecca was kind enough to model them for me. They will be available at Acseller8 Shop 8/1 Smart Street Mall Mandurah from Friday 11th January 2013.
