It has been a very hectic time of late filling orders and preparing for the Up Market but it is moments when you see the pleasure someone gets from wearing something you made that makes it worthwhile. Sally likes to dance Latino style and the custom made skirt and brooch looks perfect for the tango.
I love linen…..
You will find me next at the Perth Upmarket on Sunday 26th June at Winthrop Hall, University of Western Australia.
Winter is just beginning but I found Summer inspiration when yesterday I discovered some open weave linen in a beautiful dusky rose and mushroom colour. I see ragged roses, bags and brimmed hats.
The striped fabric is from a wonderful shop I visited in Paris called the Sweatshop.
At the Sweatshop you can hire sewing machines by the hour, take lessons, drink coffee and eat cake. Take a peek http://www.sweatshopparis.com/conceptgb.html

Fun at the Festival
We were blessed with beautiful weather during the Pinjarra Festival, attracting a big crowd. It was great to meet new people and say hello to all who popped in – thank you.

The berets once again proved to be popular with all ages. I do enjoy the pleasure they bring.
More confirmation berets make you happy. | ||

My Creative Space
Find me at the Pinjarra Festival this weekend.
I have a love of texture. A face framed by a piece of sculpture, this is what I aim to create.
Although I proclaimed I would only make the mosaic scarf by order, I couldn’t resist making the ruby one for me. I will now only make by order as they take a long time and the thrill of the finished sheath of texture is the only thing that keeps me going despite the monotony. I secretly wish someone would order one.
The pleated Dupion scarf is my favourite one of all.Luxurious and transformative.
It appears I have a love also of red, black and white….I do. My blog is testament to this fact.
