Winter is just beginning but I found Summer inspiration when yesterday I discovered some open weave linen in a beautiful dusky rose and mushroom colour. I see ragged roses, bags and brimmed hats.

I have a love of texture. A face framed by a piece of sculpture, this is what I aim to create.
Although I proclaimed I would only make the mosaic scarf by order, I couldn’t resist making the ruby one for me. I will now only make by order as they take a long time and the thrill of the finished sheath of texture is the only thing that keeps me going despite the monotony. I secretly wish someone would order one.
