Lulu’s Shop opening soon
I will be opening my Etsy Shop very soon. However if you live locally or anywhere in Australia it will be cheaper to contact me directly and we can both avoid the cost of commission, possibly postage and exchange rates. Just email me your request. I can also custom make skirt, scarves and vests to suit you in the colour of your choice. Perhaps you have a special occasion to go to and would like a wrap to match your outfit … don’t hesitate to contact me.
Beret crazy
Phew! My intuition was right. The berets were a great success. What I didn’t predict was that people of all ages liked them. And everyone had a giggle trying them on. I even had to spend Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday making a few more. I will have to get cracking again because I have managed to get a stall at the Pinjarra Festival on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.

And the winner is….
We had two fantastic days at the Stretch Festival. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to see families out celebrating Mother’s Day. Heather was a joy to work with and it was a wonderful surprise to see my friend Tunya arrive, I really do enjoy meeting new people and chatting with old friends and clients.
The Common Threads event certainly showcased the talent within the community with a real diverse range of entries which despite a hick up volunteer models did a brilliant job .
Lulu’s back
With the Stretch Festival only days away, I am busy finishing all my stock. I’m looking forward to seeing old faces and meeting new people. Heather is helping Sunday so it will also be lovely to spend time together. Here’s a sneak peek at what will be on sale.
Find me at the Mandurah Performing Arts complex. Saturday 7th May and Sunday 8th May.My online shop will open after the Stretch Festival
Berets
Travelling through Europe for three months, there was one thing I learnt ….you don’t leave home without a scarf or a hat.
Scarves
These have been really popular and I continue to enjoy creating them. To me they are a little bit of sculpture around the neck and frame the face. I have a zillion colours and have a couple of different finishes to choose from.
Brooches
A great Mother’s Day gift. I designed these with a love of colour, texture and whimsy. A traditional rose with a bit of a twist. Wear it in the usual way or place it somewhere different on the garment. I like wearing mine on the bottom of my jumpers rather than the shoulder, use it to secure scarves or on the sleeve of a jacket.
Shoe Clips
I have a pair of shoes which I swear every time I wear them I get multiple compliments. So based on those I made my own shoe clips that can be attached to a ballet flat or stiletto. Great for travelling.
One pair of shoes,,, many looks |
Skirts
This year I have designed a wrap around A line skirt. I’ve used a clip to secure the skirt which makes it adjustable. The jackets below are samples of the renovated jacket. They give a lovely silhouette.
Tops and Jackets
By popular demand I have included a range of renovated jackets and tops. The vests are still there but with the addition of a sculptural finish
